We are seeking a Meticulon board member.
Launched in 2013 as a social enterprise, Meticulon is the first Canadian organization to build a financially sustainable consulting business deploying the unique abilities of people with autism to achieve its business success. After selling the consulting business to Auticon in 2019, Meticulon took what it learned through that endeavor to develop a set of tools, supports, and software that identifies the unique strengths of neurodivergent individuals and empowers them achieve meaningful employment. This program, Meticulon Assessment Service (MAS) is exceeding funder expectations and garnering interest across Canada.
Meticulon began in Calgary and the MAS has been used in multiple cities in Alberta and has expanded to Saskatchewan and Manitoba. We are looking to bring this successful program to even more places and empower more individuals who are neurodivergent or have other unique abilities.
We are seeking a board member with a passion for inclusivity and empowering neurodiverse youth and young adults to achieve their potential. Our ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Accounting/Finance
- Business Development/Growth
- Lived experience
The estimated time commitment is 10-15 hours per quarter. Some variation may occur depending on activities and areas of expertise. Meetings are hybrid, with one full day session held in Calgary each year (travel expenses paid for by Meticulon).
